About Shelef Technologies

Security is not a feature. It's a strategy.

Independent cybersecurity expertise for organizations where a security failure can become an operational failure.

About Us

Shelef Technologies is an independent cybersecurity consultancy working across IT, cloud and OT environments.

We help organizations understand their exposure, make informed security decisions and build security into the way their systems are designed, deployed and operated.

  • Power
  • BMS

Our experience includes critical infrastructure and utilities, including water, gas and electricity, as well as complex operational environments where cybersecurity directly affects availability, safety and continuity. We also specialize in building management systems (BMS), where IT networks, operational technology and physical systems increasingly come together.

Alongside our OT and BMS work, we support organizations with the security of their IT and cloud environments, bringing the same focus on operational risk, architecture and practical implementation.

We are independent by design. We do not sell security products or represent a particular technology vendor. Our focus is on understanding the environment, identifying the risks that matter and helping the organization address them.

Our Approach

Good security starts with understanding how the organization and its systems actually operate.

We work with organizations from the planning and design stages through implementation, assessment and ongoing improvement. We examine architecture, connectivity, trust boundaries, access, monitoring, operational dependencies and potential failure scenarios across IT, cloud and OT.

  1. Plan
  2. Design
  3. Implement
  4. Assess
  5. Improve

Our work can include security assessments, architecture reviews, risk assessments, security testing, segmentation and access-control reviews, incident preparedness and cybersecurity requirements for new systems and projects.

Compliance is an important part of security, but it is not the end goal. The real question is whether the organization can identify, withstand and recover from the security events that could affect its operations.

Let's talk about where your exposure actually is.
